Pawsitive Works™  is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to helping at risk youth through canine intervention.  Shelter dogs, youth at risk - shaping both ends of the leash!

Our Mission:  Pawsitive Works helps struggling youth identify and modify damaging behavior patterns through the care and training of behaviorally challenged dogs.  We believe that the human-animal connection facilitates trust, empathy and empowerment.  We further believe that the youth’s responsibility for modifying canine problem behaviors with the assistance of adults trained in canine positive reinforcement methods will build self esteem and respect for the needs of others as well as an awareness of how they can contribute in positive ways to their own communities.

Pawsitive Works seeks to develop a board that lends unique skill sets and enthusiasm towards our goal of serving youth and shelters throughout the United States.  We are a working board making efforts toward organizational development and program enhancement.
