More Than Just Numbers, Research and Outcomes Matter

We understand one of the greatest challenges in choosing a program is determining whether it is valid, reliable and can demonstrate success. Providing evidence-based information about our programs is one of Pawsitive Works top priority.  We understand the value in knowing whether a program is effective.

If outcomes are important to you, we provide measurement tools for you to conduct your own research or we can do it for you.

Our current research addresses the impact of our Canine Assisted Program on youth. The canine program pairs youth with a shelter dog for 15 sessions of social emotional learning lessons and dog training. This curriculum was based on evidence that animal assisted therapy provides physical, emotional, cognitive and psychological support for humans (Habri.org).

Outcomes confirmed what we empirically knew and showed us some amazing things.
