We are pleased to continue our efforts to grow and share this program. Our efforts have been rewarded by recent grants and an opportunity to share the program results.
The National Convention for the Office of Juvenile Justice Delinquency Prevention has selected us to share our results in October in Maryland. An investment into furthering this program into communities through-out the United States.

2011 resulted in over 40 dogs and youth being served by our program. In review of the last three years - 95% of all dogs are adopted! We love it!!
In November of 2011 Pawsitive Works held thier first session with The Community School of Spokane, WA - Six youth, Six dogs!
In October, 2011 - Pedigree awarded Pawsitive Works a grant to help promote the enrichment and adoptions of our shelter dogs!
In August, 2011 - Equinox awarded Pawsitive Works a grant to build organizational capacity. - Thank you so much!
Pawsitive Works began working in Spokane, WA with Spokane Humane Society - Our hope is to continue expanding our efforts in Spokane.
Our advisory board was expanded to include Dr. Nikki Graf, DVM

PetCare Trust Organization awards Pawsitive Works grant for editing curriculum, training manual and volunteer manual
Inland Northwest and Equinox supported our expansion efforts with grants
Walmart awards Pawsitive Works grant money for operations
Bonners Ferry Rotary Club donates funds to sponsor a youth/canine team
Wellpinit School District in Spokane to successfully completed a pilot program
