Volunteering is about giving back
I think all of our volunteers would have to agree that in giving they have received.  If you love dogs and have compassion and humour for teenage youth.... we want you on our TEAM!

We’ve all heard and/or read various quotes associated with the power of working towards a common goal…. There is no “I” in Teamwork….”See it, Be it and Realize it”….”Just Do It!”…. “Together WE can make a difference!”

Cliches?

Perhaps on some level.  But the truth is that without the compassion and energy of others, even the most worthwhile goal can be unrealized.

Pawsitive  Works is growing… rapidly.  That’s wonderful!  But as a result – there are many areas that were not so obviously important that now ARE.  One area is how our volunteers are provided opportunities to be in a position to feel that they are making a difference and to also feel appreciated.

Thank you Lisa Carle for supporting our volunteers and helping us to coordinate our class times!

As we work towards our many goals we realize the most important people to help us create the ground floor support are our  volunteers.

THANK YOU!
Volunteers practice one of the "games" we have youth play during class.  This one is "building blocks of communication" - a great tool for bridging "dog" lessons with "life" lessons!
