One of the most incredible events of this program is when a youth is able to "hand over" the dog at graduation time to the adoptive parents.... help make this a reality for all our youth!
Share site pics - program information and let us know what you think!!!

Our organization contracts with agencies serving youth at risk and shelter organizations.  We provide community awareness efforts, training, curriculum and tracking of the results for both youth and canines.

Pawsitive Works piloted its first program in Bonners Ferry, ID in the fall of 2008.  We later expanded our program to include Sandpoint, ID and have now started our third site in Coeur D'Alene, ID.  Our goal is to reach new communities and broaden the impact of canine assisted intervention.
Juvenile Probation Services are our main supporters.   They often have one or two officers in class with us... I'm not sure who has more fun... the youth, the dogs, our staff and volunteers or the officers!
